Group Manager – Education Catering Southampton £35,000 per annum (Term Time Only) Monday to Friday Our client, an established independent education catering company , is seeking an experienced Group Manager to oversee catering operations across a number of primary schools in the Southampton/Gosport area . This role would suit a strong operational catering manager/group/Area manager with experience in education or contract catering, looking for a term-time-only position with a good work–life balance. Key Responsibilities Manage catering operations across multiple primary school sites Lead, support, and develop on-site catering teams Ensure high standards of food quality, service, and presentation Maintain compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company procedures Build effective relationships with school leadership teams and stakeholders Monitor budgets, costs, and overall site performance Support menu delivery in line with nutritional and school food standards Candidate Requirements Previous experience in education or contract catering management Proven people management and leadership skills Strong organisational and communication abilities Good commercial and financial awareness Full UK driving licence (essential) Package £35,000 salary (term time only) Mileage allowance for travel between sites Monday to Friday working hours Opportunity to join a growing, independent business This is a fantastic opportunity for a catering professional seeking a stable, rewarding role within the education sector.
