What You’ll Be Doing 🔹 Lead and deliver engineering strategy aligned to business objectives 🔹 Drive engineering excellence across product development, industrialisation, and project delivery 🔹 Develop and implement global engineering standards, processes, and governance frameworks 🔹 Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring delivery to quality, cost, and timing targets 🔹 Provide technical leadership and guidance across international engineering teams 🔹 Align engineering methodologies, tools, and best practices globally 🔹 Manage engineering risk, validation, APQP, PPAP, and change management processes 🔹 Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders 🔹 Coach and develop engineering capability across the organisation 🔹 Support innovation, technology roadmaps, and continuous improvement initiatives What We’re Looking For ✔ Extensive engineering leadership experience within automotive, aerospace, or regulated manufacturing environments ✔ Strong understanding of product development, design engineering, project engineering, and manufacturing processes ✔ Proven ability to lead complex engineering programmes and multidisciplinary teams ✔ Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, structured product development, and engineering governance ✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills ✔ Experience driving continuous improvement and organisational capability development ✔ Familiarity with standards such as IATF 16949 and/or AS9100 Desirable Experience ⭐ Experience working within global or multi-site engineering organisations ⭐ Experience supporting organisational transformation or restructuring ⭐ Exposure to product strategy or technology roadmap development ⭐ Project management qualifications ⭐ Membership of a recognised engineering institution (e.g. IMechE) Qualifications Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline — or equivalent industry experience.
