The Role As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a key role within an onshore or offshore payroll team. You will be responsible for processing payroll inputs, performing checks, and ensuring accurate, timely outputs in line with SLA’s and KPI’s. You will coordinate regular payroll feeds into the system, support employees with payroll queries, and contribute to internal projects and ad-hoc tasks that drive continuous improvement. Your responsibilities: • Handle complex payroll enquiries., • Co-ordinate payroll feeds according to schedule., • Ensure integrity of payroll information, including balance sheet reconciliations., • Represent the payroll functionality when processes are reviewed and remunerative policies designed., • Ensure that payslips, pay run reports, and third-party payments or remittances are generated and distributed within the agreed timeframes., • Ensure all quality checking tasks are completed prior to payroll finalization., • Strive for continuous improvement of the activities undertaken by a Payroll Consultant., • Manage third party relationships with benefits suppliers. Your Profile Essential skills/knowledge/experience: • Strong experience in MS Excel, Word., • Sound understanding of Payroll and HR systems., • In depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, National Insurance, Statutory payments, Student Loans, or AEO’s., • Understanding of basic accounting principles in support of finance reconciliation principles. Desirable skills/knowledge/experience: • Experience in Stakeholder management and problem-solving skills., • Possess planning and Organizational skills., • Being a result orientated individual., • Experience working within a team in a geographical split., • Working experience of training and developing a fellow team member., • Skilled in MS PowerPoint, and Visio., • Experience with SAP Payroll.
