I am looking for a talented Graduate ASIC Verification Engineer to join a growing verification team. You will work alongside experienced engineers to ensure the functional correctness and quality of complex digital designs used in next-generation semiconductor products. This role is suited to graduates with strong digital design and verification knowledge, excellent academic performance, and relevant industry experience through internships or placements. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain verification environments for digital and ASIC designs, • Write SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches to verify RTL functionality, • Create directed and constrained-random tests, • Run simulations, analyse results, and debug failures, • Contribute to coverage-driven verification strategies, • Work closely with design engineers to resolve functional bugs, • Participate in design and verification reviews, • Document verification plans, test results, and coverage metrics Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, • First Class or Upper Second Class (2:1) degree from a top engineering university, • Minimum 12 months of relevant internship or industrial placement experience, • Strong understanding of digital logic design and computer architecture, • Knowledge of HDL languages (SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL), • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, • Good written and verbal communication skills Desirable Skills • Experience with SystemVerilog verification and UVM – through internship, • Exposure to coverage-driven verification methodologies, • Familiarity with EDA tools (Synopsys VCS, Cadence Xcelium, Siemens Questa), • Knowledge of Python, Tcl, or scripting for verification automation, • Understanding of ASIC design flows, • Enthusiasm for semiconductor design and verification On offer is the rare opportunity to work for a British company and remotely, mentorship from experienced ASIC engineers and the opportunity to work on advanced semiconductor projects.
