Specifically, this will involve: • Maintaining, monitoring, and repairing all machinery to ensure maximum efficiencies., • Managing a team of Shredding Specialists, • Ensuring overtime costs are minimised and associated labour costs within the plant department are managed appropriately., • Developing and implementing short and long-term plans for the plant department, while strategically implementing methods to achieve goals., • Ensuring Site Health and Safety standards are prioritised and maintained at all times., • Overseeing personnel training for all plant employees, including training on the operation of shredding equipment, baling, forklifts, and other types of equipment., • Ensuring the plant meets British Security Industry Association standards by following Shred-it policies at all times., • Controlling the flow of activity in the plant so team members / trucks can be provided service upon arrival., • Managing customer service in the plant, demanding a high level of customer service at all times., • Taking ownership of all compliance and safety training for the plant department and employees., • Recruiting, training, and developing talent.
