Company Description The Anthro joint venture between Egis and VVB Engineering will provide comprehensive turn-key services for London’s state-of-the-art HS2 gateway station at Old Oak Common. We have been awarded a multi-year contract to deliver MEPHFC (Mechanical, Electrical Public Health, Fire and Communications) systems under a design and build NEC 3 Option C contract. Job Description To coordinate the process of managing and creating digital information. A BIM coordinator ensures that information and data flows in a specific order according to standard BIM methodology. They establish and maintain BIM workflows / BIM execution plans (BEPs), manage the federated model process, resolve any coordination issues that may arise, and manage/mentor a small team. Core Responsibilities • Utilise Bentley ProjectWise with OpenBuilding Designer, and MicroStation for detailed 3D CAD model creation and documentation, ensuring models are fully coordinated and by using clash avoidance tools which are embedded within the digital twin used on the project., • Produce model geometry and information in line with the Component Catalogue and outline information within the BIM Execution Plan (BEP)., • Ensure all models that are submitted, meet the project requirements set out, and ensure systems are in place for clash avoidance, internal model audits and clash detection before model submission., • Assist in the maintenance of the project's ProjectWise Common Data Environment, ensuring accurate and timely information flow and adherence to data management standards., • Participate in quality assurance checks of to ensure they meet the project's accuracy, detail, and the employers information requirements., • Assist in monitoring compliance with the BEP and the supporting project standards, contributing to regular reports on BIM deliverable status., • Work closely with other disciplines to ensure the 3D CAD models are integrated and coordinated efficiently, attending regular coordination meetings as necessary., • Management of a small team within the project and/or subcontractors, including BIM Modellers, CAD Technicians/Apprentices for production design outputs, • Take a lead role in managing the project BIM design sub-team and managing all technical aspects related to interdisciplinary model coordination, • Plan and co-ordinate the activities of the BIM/Digital sub-team to meet the project delivery requirements, • Support the management team in Client meetings for technical issues, • Proactively review design documentation to ensure compliance to standard and requirements, • Coordinate the Quality aspects of the sub-systems deliverables as per the project Quality Management Plan / Exchange Information Requirements, • Produce and/or review (wherever applicable) digital/BIM deliverables, act as a technical control level across projects at sub-team level, • Support and develop competency of the sub-team, following direction from line management / Egis Head of Profession / Functional Head, including:, • Training plan,, • Guidance and mentoring to junior team members,, • Support the international Engineering Design Centre (EDC) strategy and team management structure in the UK, • Support the BIM/Digital Strategy and help maintain our ISO 19650 accreditation in the UK, • Support in development and improvement of our BIM processes/protocols for input data management and external deliverables / published documentation, • 6-8 years of experience in Engineering / Technical functions, with at least 2 years’ experience as a BIM Coordinator in major infrastructure/transportation projects., • Excellent communication skills in digital management., • Persistence, attention to detail, and sound judgement., • Effective time management and flexibility., • Ambition to lead and mentor a sub-team of BIM and IM specialists., • Capability to manage project timescales and advise on resource requirements., • Experience with data management and integration tools., • Excellent understanding of all relevant BIM standards, design integration procedures and relevant legislation, • Experience of using:, • Bentley ProjectWise, • Bentley MicroStation, • Bentley OpenRail Designer, • Bentley OpenBuilding Designer, • Bentley Raceway, • BSc or similar in Bachelor Degree (BEng, BSc) in a Numerate, Scientific or Engineering subject or Higher Education/equivalent training and experience., • Chartered Engineer/Technician membership or working towards an equivalent professional status from a recognised institution, • Knowledge and understanding of rail engineering, including Network Rail and associated rail standards, and related regulations (CDM, CSM, RIR), • Knowledge of UK design standards, such as Network Rail, HS2 and TfL, • Knowledge of railway infrastructure, systems, and operating requirements, • Knowledge of quality assurance, • Experience of working with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams., • Knowledge in producing BEPs, Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDP), Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP) and Model Production Delivery Tables (MPDT), • Experience of using:, • Synchro, • REVIT, • Civil 3D, • Navisworks
