This is a key opportunity to step into a thriving, forward-sold 104-unit scheme where construction is progressing rapidly, with groundworks well underway and superstructure and internal works advancing. This role is ideal for a strong Assistant Site Manager or a proven No.2 looking to progress into a full Site Manager position within the next 12 months. What you'll do Supporting the Site Manager, you will help drive daily site operations, ensuring quality, programme, and Health & Safety standards are consistently achieved. You will be heavily involved in coordination of trades, monitoring progress, and ensuring all build stages meet NHBC requirements and company standards. Site Coordination and Set up • Assist in establishing and maintaining site facilities, temporary works, service routes and traffic management., • Prepare and support method statements for temporary works in line with Health & Safety plans., • Support the supervision of groundworks, formwork, blockwork and associated setting-out checks (E.D.M. use advantageous)., • Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to programme., • Review drawings, check work against specifications, and ensure materials and labour are available to meet progress targets., • Maintain high standards of finish across all stages of construction, particularly around brick/blockwork, DPCs, insulation, cavity standards and structural elements., • Carry out regular inspections and prepare NHBC-ready plots., • Implement the company Health & Safety policy and support the preparation of RAMS, permits to work and safe systems of work., • Ensure subcontractors operate safely and in compliance with site rules., • Strong NHBC experience with a proven track record delivering high-quality residential units., • Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or a solid No.2 looking to progress., • Ability to work efficiently on a fast-paced site with multiple plots at varying stages., • Confident communicator with strong organisational and coordination skills., • Ability to build positive relationships with trades, colleagues, and stakeholders., • Good understanding of Health & Safety, CDM regulations, and construction buildability., • Competitive basic salary (£40-50k) based on experience, • Car Allowance, • Site Bonus Scheme, • Private medical insurance, • X3 life assurance., • Time for You: 25 Days holiday, plus bank holidays plus the option to buy 5 more!, • Well-being Support: Access to 24-hour Health Hero, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), and the Health Assured Wisdom App., • Lifestyle Perks: Cycle-to-work scheme and flexible benefits like gym membership discounts and shopping vouchers.
