This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND Teacher or a mainstream Primary or Secondary Teacher looking to transition into specialist education. The Role As a SEND Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. You will work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists and external professionals to create an inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive academically, socially and emotionally. Pupils may present with a range of needs, including: • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), • Complex Learning Difficulties, • Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH), • Sensory and Physical NeedsAbout You To be successful in this role, you will: • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential, • Have experience teaching children or young people within Primary, Secondary or SEND settings, • Be passionate about inclusive education, • Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills, • Be adaptable, resilient and solution-focused, • Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues, • Be committed to achieving the best outcomes for every learner SEND experience is highly desirable but not essential. You must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS Check and have the right to work in the UK.
