Location: Letchworth, Hertfordshire Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Salary: £12.74/h About the Role I’m currently recruiting for a permanent Assembly Operative on behalf of a manufacturing client based in Letchworth. Full training will be provided, so previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is helpful but not essential. What’s most important is a good attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities • Assemble mechanical components accurately and efficiently following written instructions or technical drawings., • Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet required standards., • Operate hand tools and small machinery safely and correctly., • Keep your workstation clean, tidy, and organised., • Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets., • Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production (preferred but not essential)., • Strong attention to detail and a steady, methodical approach to work., • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented., • Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision., • A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
