We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operative with strong turning and milling skills to join a well-established precision engineering manufacturer in Northampton. Key Responsibilities • Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines to produce precision machined components., • Manufacture parts to engineering drawings and tight tolerances., • Perform tool changes, adjust offsets and set programs where required., • Carry out in-process and finished part inspection using precision measuring tools (e.g. micrometers, verniers, gauges)., • Ensure quality standards are met on every job and report any non-conformances., • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the machine area., • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to production targets.Essential Skills & Experience, • Proven experience as a CNC operator with both turning and milling., • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings., • Knowledge of inspection equipment and quality practices., • Precision engineering or manufacturing background.
