    📍 Grill Cartel – Uxbridge, UB8 2RT Please note: Positions at our Acton branch have now been filled. This vacancy is for UXBRIDGE only. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and experienced Kitchen Assistant / Grill Chef to join our team at Grill Cartel Uxbridge. HOURS: • Part-time – approximately 25–35 hours per week, • Opening hours: Monday–Sunday, 5PM–2AM, • You must be flexible and available to work full 5PM–2AM shifts, including closing, • Overtime may also be available YOUR ROLE: • Preparing burgers, wraps, doner, shawarma, grilled chicken and other grilled food, • Preparing orders quickly and accurately during busy periods, • Handling Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat orders, • Taking customer takeaway orders in-store, • Food preparation and stock rotation, • Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and hygienic at all times, • Maintaining high food quality and presentation standards WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: • Previous kitchen / fast-food experience, • Experience with burgers, wraps, doner, shawarma or grilled food is strongly preferred, • Able to work FAST while maintaining food quality and hygiene standards, • Good spoken English for communicating with customers and the team, • Reliable and punctual, • Able to work well under pressure, • Flexible with working days and overtime when required, • Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene certificate preferred Training on our menu, systems and procedures will be provided. 💷 Pay: Competitive and based on experience ⏰ 25–35 hours per week 📍 Uxbridge, UB8 2RT 🚀 Immediate start available If interested, please message us with: 1.     The Role As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving drinks, maintaining high standards behind the bar and helping to keep the pub clean, safe and welcoming. You will be an important part of the team and will represent The Wheatsheaf every time you interact with a customer. Key Responsibilities • Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner., • Take customer orders and serve drinks efficiently., • Pour and serve draught beers, ciders, wines and spirits correctly., • Prepare cocktails and other drinks according to company standards., • Operate the EPOS/till system accurately., • Handle cash and card payments responsibly., • Check customer identification where required and follow the pub’s Challenge 25/age-verification policy., • Never serve alcohol to anyone who is underage or appears intoxicated., • Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar., • Replenish fridges, bottles, glasses, garnishes and other bar supplies., • Clean glassware, bar equipment and work areas throughout the shift., • Complete opening and closing duties to the required standard., • Support the team during busy periods, events, live music and match days., • Communicate effectively with managers and other members of staff., • Deal with customer questions, complaints and requests professionally., • Help maintain a welcoming atmosphere for customers., • Report any maintenance, stock or safety issues to management., • Work as part of a team to ensure the pub operates smoothly.
