Use appropriate systems to ensure work is acted upon in accordance with standard operating procedures. Respond to routine emergencies and undertake appropriate repairs. Carry out decoration and improvement work as directed. Undertake cleaning duties, including sweeping grounds, emptying bins, removing graffiti, and cleaning windows, spills, and bodily fluids. Health and Safety Regulations: Follow health and safety regulations throughout the site. Stay up to date on health and safety policies and attend training courses. Carry out security and health and safety checks in accordance with regulations. Be familiar with fire evacuation procedures and take necessary steps during evacuations. Undertake required training such as manual handling and ladder use. Porterage: Provide a responsive porterage service for moving equipment and furniture. Set up and clear venues for assemblies, meetings, performances, events, exams, and lettings. Ensure classrooms are ready for lessons after layout changes. Ensure the school site is clean and suitable for use by lettings. Deliver parcels to recipients, following appropriate procedures.
