This is a brand-new concept from the team behind a proven hospitality business, now stepping into the leisure space. We’re looking for a confident, energetic and people-focused Shift Leader to join us from the beginning and help bring this concept to life. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with the founders and help bring the brand to life - shaping the culture, team and guest experience from day one. The Role As Shift Leader, you’ll take responsibility for the smooth running of the salon during your shift. You’ll be the senior team member on the floor, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional experience, the team stays motivated and the salon operates to the highest standard. You’ll lead by example, bringing energy, confidence and a strong sense of ownership to every shift. This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be working alongside the team, supporting them when needed while making sure the salon continues to run smoothly and commercially successfully. Key Responsibilities Leading the Shift • Take ownership of the salon floor during your allocated shift, • Ensure the team is prepared, motivated and ready to deliver an exceptional experience, • Lead by example in service, professionalism and attitude, • Allocate tasks and support the team throughout the shift, • Monitor the flow of appointments and identify any potential issues before they affect the guest experience, • Keep the team informed of daily targets, priorities and important guest information, • Act as the first point of contact for the team during your shift, • Escalate significant operational or team issues to the Assistant Manager or Salon Manager, • Ensure the salon remains organised, energetic and welcoming throughout the day Guest Experience • Ensure every guest receives a warm, personal and memorable experience, • Welcome guests and create a positive first impression, • Support the team in delivering consistent service standards, • Handle guest questions, concerns and feedback confidently, • Resolve minor guest issues quickly and professionally, • Build relationships with regular guests, • Encourage rebooking and client retention, • Ensure guests understand relevant aftercare and future treatment recommendations, • Create an environment that feels social, relaxed and enjoyable Commercial Performance • Support the team, AM and SM in achieving daily and weekly sales targets, • Communicate targets clearly at the beginning of each shift, • Keep the team motivated and commercially focused throughout the day, • Encourage appropriate treatment upgrades, add-ons and retail, • Support rebooking and client retention, • Monitor performance throughout the shift and identify opportunities to improve, • Celebrate team wins and recognise strong individual performance, • Communicate shift performance to the Assistant Manager or Salon Manager Salon Standards • Ensure the salon is maintained to an exceptional standard throughout the shift, • Monitor cleanliness, hygiene and presentation, • Ensure treatment areas and workstations are prepared correctly, • Complete regular floor checks, • Ensure health & safety procedures are followed, • Monitor stock and consumable levels during the shift, • Report maintenance, stock or operational issues promptly, • Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed correctly when responsible for them Team Support • Be approachable and available to support team members throughout the shift, • Coach and guide team members where appropriate and support new team members as they settle into the business, • Help maintain a positive and respectful team environment, • Share feedback with the Assistant Manager or Salon Manager at the end of your shift, • Recognise and celebrate good performance, • Lead calmly and confidently during busy periods Brand & Social Experience • Bring the personality and energy of the brand to life on the salon floor, • Help create an environment that feels social, welcoming and exciting, • Support events, activations and special occasions, • Encourage memorable interactions between the team and guests, • Maintain the visual and experiential standards of the salon, • Represent the brand professionally at all times, • Bring ideas and energy to the development of the salon Who This Role Is For You might currently be: • A Shift Leader, • Senior Beauty Therapist, • Senior Nail Technician, • Salon Supervisor, • Team Leader, • Experienced Beauty Therapist, • Experienced Nail Technician, • A high-performing team member ready to take their first step into leadership, • Someone from a premium hospitality or retail environment looking to move into beauty We’re looking for someone with the confidence, personality and mindset to lead a team and take ownership of a shift. We’re looking for an Event Manager to lead front-of-house service and report directly to the Founder. The Role You’ll be the presence guests remember; calm, attentive, always one step ahead. You’ll take full ownership of front-of-house operations, from setup through pack-down, managing a team of waiters and hostesses. What You’ll Do • Review event briefs in advance; set staff positions, responsibilities, and service timings, • Lead and coach the FOH team on presentation, timing, and etiquette; set and enforce uniform and grooming standards, • Manage staff on the day; attendance, punctuality, breaks, positioning, and performance, • Oversee service flow: briefings, table timing, course pacing, and guest experience start to finish, • Oversee FOH setup and pack-down, including service stations and equipment, • Coordinate with the venue, planners, and other suppliers as needed, • Act as the calm point of contact on-site, resolving issues independently; before guests notice and without escalating to the Founder, • Liaise with the kitchen and Founder to align service with each event’s vision, • Manage scheduling, event briefs, and post-event debriefs What We’re Looking For • 2–3+ years managing floor teams in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or high-end events, • An eye for detail and an instinct for anticipating guest needs before they ask, • Comfortable working closely with a Founder who cares deeply about how things look and feel, • Based in London, with flexibility to travel to venues and work evenings/weekends, • Genuine appreciation for Indian and Middle Eastern culinary culture is a strong plus This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who treats service as a craft.
