Your new roleAs a Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the technical delivery of site operations, ensuring works are set out accurately, delivered safely, and meet stringent quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: • Undertaking day-to-day setting out with autonomy, • Mentoring and developing Junior Engineers, • Managing site sample and performance testing, maintaining accurate records, • Producing RAMS and completing hazard/risk assessments, • Managing site service plans and issuing permits, • Supporting the QS/Project Manager with information for records and claims, • Monitoring and coordinating temporary works, • Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors, • Proven experience as an Engineer/Senior Engineer, • Strong capability in quality records, reporting and design coordination, • CSCS card and a minimum HND in Civil Engineering (degree desirable), • Ideally SMSTS, First Aid and experience with temporary works, • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Northern Region Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
