This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children during their early years development within a safe, engaging, and child-centred environment. The nursery is looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing through play-based activities and positive interactions. Flexible opportunities are available for candidates seeking 3, 4, or 5 days per week, with set working hours of 8:00am – 6:30pm. Key Responsibilities • Support children aged 0–5 with their daily learning and development, • Assist in delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework, • Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive nursery environment, • Support children's social, emotional, physical, and communication development, • Assist with daily routines including mealtimes, toileting, and transitions, • Observe and report on children's progress where required, • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, • Promote safeguarding and maintain high standards of care at all times What We’re Looking For Essential: • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Supporting Teaching & Learning, • Experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • Caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach, • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one), • Right to Work in the UK Desirable: • Knowledge of the EYFS framework, • Paediatric First Aid qualification, • Experience supporting children with additional needs, • CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 qualification What This Role Offers • Flexible working pattern of 3–5 days per week, • Consistent working hours of 8:00am – 6:30pm, • ASAP and September start dates available, • Supportive and friendly nursery environment, • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities, • Long-term and permanent opportunities available, • Opportunity to make a positive impact during children's early years development
