Fire Risk, Health and Safety Consultant (Mid to Senior Level)\n\nOur client is a well-established environmental, health & safety and compliance consultancy operating across the UK and internationally. They support a diverse portfolio including commercial offices, retail estates, industrial facilities, media organisations, and mixed-use developments.\n\nDue to continued growth and increasing demand for higher-level technical support, they are seeking a Fire Risk, Health and Safety Consultant (Mid to Senior Level) to join their team.\n\nThe role is predominantly Fire Risk Assessor focused. \n\nThe Role\n\nThis is a senior position requiring a high level of technical competence, professional judgement, and client-facing capability.\n\nYou will be responsible for delivering complex fire risk assessments and providing clear, practical advice to ensure compliance with UK fire safety legislation. You will also contribute to more advanced technical work, particularly in relation to existing and non-compliant buildings.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nDelivering PAS 79-compliant fire risk assessments across a range of complex property types\nProviding expert advice in relation to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fire Safety Act, and associated regulations\nInvolvement in the development of retrospective fire strategies, with structured training and support provided to further develop capability in this area\nHealth & Safety assessments\nProducing high-quality, client-ready reports with clear and proportionate recommendations\nActing as a trusted advisor to clients, supporting informed decision-making\nReviewing and quality assuring fire risk assessments (Principal level)\nSupporting and mentoring junior team members\nContributing to service development and technical standardsCandidate Requirements\n\nExtensive experience in undertaking fire risk assessments within commercial or complex multi-site environments\nStrong working knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and guidance\nExperience dealing with complex or higher-risk buildings, including legacy compliance issues\nAbility to produce clear, well-structured technical reports\nConfident communicator with experience managing client relationships\nRelevant qualifications (e.g. IFE, IFSM, NEBOSH Fire) or equivalent professional development\nMembership of a professional body (desirable)Package\n\nSalary up to £60,000 depending on experience\nOngoing professional development and support with further qualifications\nClear progression to technical leadership or associate-level roles\nOpportunity to work across a varied and technically challenging project portfolioIf you're an experienced Fire Risk Assessor with Health and Safety experience and looking to broaden your exposure across diverse, high-impact projects within a respected consultancy, please send over your CV
