Liaison · To develop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents to facilitate day to day caring needs. · To encourage parental involvement and support through the development of effective working relationships. · To consult with the children and involve them in the planning of activities. Supervision and care of children · Ensure that activities are carried out in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with Statutory responsibilities. · Ensure that food provision is carried out within the guidelines of the Food and Safety Act 1990, it is balanced and healthy in accordance with dietary requirements. Direct Playwork · Help the coordinator to ensure that a wide range of creative and enjoyable activities are offered. · Ensure that play meets full range of children’s individual and group needs. Health and safety · To ensure the good standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times. · To be responsible for the Health and Safety standards, appropriate for the needs of the children. · Recording of any accidents in the accident book. · Ensure child is collected by someone known to Beams of Light staff · Recording of any accidents in the accident book · To ensure confidentiality of information at work is adhered. · Ensure to provide a good quality check on the equipment and the children’s play environment before the after school care session. BLAM UK runs the UK’s only school exclusions advocacy service dedicated to supporting Black children and young people. Through advocacy, legal guidance, and community engagement, we work to challenge systemic inequalities in education and ensure that Black children and families are treated fairly within the education system. About the Role True Honour is looking for a motivated, proactive Project Lead to help deliver our Empowering Communities project across Hounslow and Kingston. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes initiative, works well independently, and genuinely cares about supporting vulnerable women from diverse backgrounds. You will plan and deliver weekly women's group sessions, build local partnerships, and help women access the support they need, including safety planning, court preparation, and referrals to key services. What You Will Do 1. Plan and deliver weekly women's group sessions focused on confidence, English skills, digital basics, safety awareness, and wellbeing, 2. Proactively reach out to women in the community to encourage participation and reduce isolation, 3.
