Your new roleDue to continued expansion, the business is recruiting two Accounts Assistants / Bookkeepers on a permanent basis. You will support the day-to-day finance function, working across transactional accounting and bookkeeping duties while supporting senior finance colleagues as required.Key Responsibilities: • Managing purchase and sales ledgers, • Processing invoices, expenses, and payments, • Bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records, • Assisting with month-end preparation and reporting, • Supporting the preparation of VAT returns, • Working with external accountants where required, • Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, or similar finance role, • Experience gained within an accountancy practice is desirable, • Experience with purchase ledger, sales ledger, and bank reconciliations, • Confidence processing invoices, payments, and maintaining accurate records, • Experience using accounting software (e.g., Zero, Sage, QuickBooks) is beneficial, • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, • Competitive salary of £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience, • Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:30pm.
