Key Responsibilities • Manage and oversee defects works across multiple projects, • Supervise maintenance works in live buildings, • Ensure all works comply with company standards, Health & Safety requirements, and current legislation, • Carry out inspections in line with client requirements, • Conduct Toolbox Talks (TBTs) and promote safe working practices, • Oversee internal teams and external contractors, including plumbers, electricians, and roofing operatives, • Source materials, arrange deliveries, and ensure purchase orders are completed and approved, • Maintain defects tracking records and attend review meetings, • Completed apprenticeship in Carpentry & Joinery (City & Guilds or NVQ), • Strong knowledge of fire door installation, maintenance, and defect remediation, • Proven experience supervising teams, • IT literate with good knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, • First Aid, Manual Handling, and Health & Safety certifications, • Full UK driving licence, • Desirable: BM TRADA / Q-Mark or similar accreditation UK-wide travel to site is required McAleer & Rushe Contracts UK is an equal opportunities employer.
