Job Role: Finance Controller Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am 5pm 35 hours per week Pay: per annum Location: Carlton House Chester Business Park CH4 9QE Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Controller to join our Anchor Group Services Finance team at our Head Quarters in Chester Business Park! This pivotal role ensures the delivery of accurate timely and insightful financial information to both internal stakeholders and external clients. Youll play a key part in managing and reporting parking revenue figures supporting strategic decision-making and maintaining financial integrity across all parking operations. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your career in Finance and join a highly motivated team. Further professional development training will be provided leading to the achievement of a Level 3 AAT qualification. Duties & Responsibilities: • Prepare and Deliver Accurate Parking Revenue Reports to Clients and Senior Management., • Monitor and Analyse Financial Performance Across Parking Sites., • Recording Bank Receipts and Payments., • Processing Bank Payments., • Investigation and Verifying Bank Transactions., • Handling Finance Correspondence., • Assisting in Office and Finance Department Operations., • Month/Year End Checks and Balances., • Journal Adjustments., • Parking Accrual., • Job Costing Checks., • Sharing Appropriate Financial Data Across the Business., • Collaboration with the Parking Department., • Level 2 AAT qualified or equivalent., • At least 2 years finance experience or equivalent., • Proficiency in various finance tasks including bank transactions and nominal ledger reconciliations., • Excellent organisational skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload., • Good attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records., • Accuracy calculating figures for revenue shares., • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook., • Excellent written English strong email communication skills., • Calm and resourceful with the ability to respond effectively and positively to pressure., • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced demanding and ever-changing environment., • Team player with a professional flexible and positive approach to work., • Access to a range of nationally recognised courses to help further your career via the Anchor Academy, • Auto Enrolment Pension (if earnings reach the minimum requirement for auto-enrolment), • Stream - access to pay as you earn it, • Cycle to Work Scheme Available, • Free Employee Assistance Programme 24/7 including access to counselling, • Hospital Saturday Fund, • Free on-site parking, • Reward and Recognition awards Whats Next If you would like to be considered for this position APPLY NOW and we will be in touch.
