Due to growth and demand across our new and existing clients, we are seeking a Senior Pensions Payroll Administrator to join our Dynamic team. This role is a pivotal part of the Finance and Payroll team, responsible for overseeing and processing a wide range of pensions transactions across members. You will focus on the payroll area of our clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of all related activities. What you’ll do: • Supervise staff by checking work, validating data and supporting more complex cases., • Authorise system amendments, data updates and member record amendments., • Maintain systems to ensure accuracy of information and the corresponding correct pension entitlements., • Document work processes and provide assistance to the other members of the Pension Administration teams., • Prepare changes to any local working instructions and provide training on these changes as required., • Run automated payroll bulk calculations including running periodic payrolls and year end pension increases, • Participate in and undertake one-off projects., • Advise and liaise with external organisations/clients on pension adjustments, payments and communications, • Provide and analyse work statistics and reports on Service Level Agreements, and other exercises where necessary., • Provide cover for the Pensions Finance team, e.g. processing/checking payments, accounting entries, reconciliations and AVC investment transactions, • Undertake work in different teams within Pension Administration according to business need., • Undertake specific additional roles, dependent upon the team on which they are working., • Other duties, as required. This role would suit someone with: • Experience in a finance role, • Strong information technology experience, • Strong customer care skills with the ability to communicate / interact at all levels within the organisation and external to the organisation, • Strong diagnostic, analytical and process skills, • Ability to work under pressure, • Experience within Payroll / and or Pension Administration or analysis, • Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, • A positive and professional attitude, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • The ability to work to deadlines and manage workload appropriately, • Experience in pension software products, e.g. IntelliPen, is desirable but not essential, • Strong Maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualification, • Payroll qualification Why Brightwell?
