The Job You’ll Do: • Attend and resolve equipment breakdowns in a timely manner., • Follow and improve preventative maintenance plans with the aim of reducing unplanned down time., • Ensure the annual PPM schedule is adhered to and completed as required., • Ensure that planned maintenance follow up work is recorded and carried out in a timely manner., • Support root cause investigations for repetitive breakdowns and to implement permanent solutions., • Be involved in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement activities., • Assist with relevant project work where engineering involvement is required., • Ensure line efficiency is improved through timely repair, maintenance and improvement of equipment., • Ensure quality is improved and spoilage is reduced through timely repair, maintenance and improvement of equipment. About You: • Recognised electrical engineering qualification, four-year electrical apprenticeship, with a minimum of City & Guilds part 2 / NVQ level three qualifications., • City & Guilds 18th Edition., • Proven experience working in a manufacturing maintenance environment., • Have the skills to maintain and fault find on electrical and automated systems., • Strong methodical approach to problem solving., • Experience with PLCs
