Automatic Gate & Barrier Service Engineer Leeds - Surrounding areas (northern engineer) £40,000 – £45,000 + Overtime + Company Van A well-established security manufacturer specialising in high-security automated gate systems is expanding its Northern engineering team and is looking for an Automatic Gate & Barrier Engineer to cover Leeds and surrounding areas. This is a field-based service and repair role, working on a range of automated gate and perimeter security systems across commercial sites. Key Duties of the Gate & Barrier Engineer • Service and repair automatic gate systems, • Maintain traffic barriers, bollards and security blockers, • Diagnose faults on gate automation and control systems, • Carry out force testing and safety checks, • Replace motors, control boards and safety devices, • Ensure systems meet safety and compliance standards, • Provide professional on-site customer support Key Skills & Background • Experience working with automatic gates or barriers, • Strong electrical fault finding skills, • Knowledge of gate automation systems, • Comfortable working in a field-based role, • Good understanding of safety standards, • Full UK driving licence, • Experience with brands such as FAAC, CAME, BFT, Nice or similar automation systems would be advantageous.
