SEMH Art Teacher We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEMH provision in Leeds for an experienced KS4 Art Teacher to work on a part-time, temporary basis (Monday to Wednesday). This role is ideal for a creative and adaptable teacher with proven experience teaching Art at GCSE level, who is confident supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs in a specialist education setting. The Role • Deliver engaging and differentiated GCSE Art lessons to KS4 pupils, • Plan and adapt schemes of work to meet individual learning, emotional, and behavioural needs, • Use creative teaching approaches to support engagement, self-expression, and emotional regulation, • Establish a calm, structured, and inclusive classroom environment, • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching experience, • Essential: Experience teaching Art at GCSE level, • Previous experience working within SEMH, SEND, alternative provision, PRU, or similar settings, • Confident behaviour management skills using trauma-informed and restorative approaches, • Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience, • Consistent part-time work (Monday–Wednesday), • Small class sizes with additional classroom support
