Responsible for supervising young people in a Children's Home, providing advice, care, and stability. Ensure they are treated equally and receive equal opportunities daily. • Ensure the protection and well-being of young people in our care., • Demonstrate the value of education, care, and development., • Build mutual trust and respect with young people to foster appropriate responses., • Define behavioral structures and boundaries, serving as a positive role model., • Maintain and distribute accurate house paperwork., • Encourage participation in a structured routine through behavioral control and analysis., • Create activities that develop life skills and education., • Apply relevant legislation and standards., • Provide basic financial and life skills advice. Key Competencies • Supporting and working with others, • Acting Professionally, • Dealing with Changing Circumstances, • Sharing & Cooperating Essential Skills and Knowledge • Commitment to complete QCF Level 3 Children and Young People qualification, • Full driving license, • Experience in monitoring service delivery and meeting objectives, • Experience in residential or non-residential care £13.85 per hour. we provide 24 hour care for vulnerable children and young people, so working hours may vary and include sleep shifts
