Teaching Assistants Location: Chichester Start: January 2026 Contract: Temporary and Permanent positions available Teaching Personnel are proud to be working with a secondary school in Chichester, graded GOOD by Ofsted with an OUTSTANDING Sixth Form, seeking Teaching Assistants to join their SEN department from January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students while contributing to a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. The school, located in the historic city of Chichester, caters for students aged 11 to 18 and offers a vibrant curriculum enriched by extracurricular opportunities in sports, arts, and community service. With modern facilities including state-of-the-art science labs, a well-equipped library, and extensive sports fields, the school is committed to fostering both academic excellence and personal growth. Successful candidates will provide support to individual students as well as small groups, focusing on pupils with special educational needs, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges. There is also a requirement for a Teaching Assistant to join the specialist provision within the learning support department, which may involve intimate care. Experience of working with young people with SEN or social communication difficulties would be beneficial but is not essential. The school is looking for passionate individuals with a strong desire to help students overcome barriers to learning. Applicants must demonstrate high standards of communication, numeracy, and literacy, and hold GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above in English and Mathematics.
