Join Bradford Children and Families Trust and help shape brighter futures for children and young people in care.\n\nWe are recruiting permanent Social Workers to join the Corporate Parenting / Children in Care Service - where relationship-based practice, stability and achieving the best possible outcomes for children are at the heart of everything achieved.\n\nAn Exciting Time to Join Bradford\nBradford Children and Families Trust has recently restructured its Children in Care service to provide greater continuity and improved outcomes for children and young people.\n\nThe redesigned service now spans children and young people aged 0–18, creating three new teams and bringing the total number of Children in Care teams to 10 dedicated teams. This structure enables stronger relationships, improved consistency and more effective support throughout a child's journey in care.\n\nAs part of ongoing commitment to excellence, they are investing in the workforce and creating an environment where social workers can thrive professionally while making a real difference to children's lives.\n\nAs a Social Worker within the Corporate Parenting / Children in Care Service, you will support children and young people who are looked after by the Trust, ensuring their voices remain central to all planning and decision-making.\n\nYou will:\n\nBuild meaningful, trusting relationships with children and young people\nUndertake statutory visits, assessments and reviews\nDevelop and implement care plans that promote safety, stability and positive outcomes\nWork collaboratively with carers, families, schools, health professionals and partner agencies\nChampion children's educational achievement, health and emotional wellbeing\nSupport children and young people to understand their experiences and prepare for adulthood\nDrive permanence planning and ensure timely decision-making to achieve long-term stability for childrenCorporate Parenting Commitment\nAs a service Bradford take corporate parenting responsibilities seriously and are ambitious for every child in care.
