Meat processing machinery Maintenance engineer. Wolf-Tech Engineering provides technical service and maintenance to meat processing machinery. Wolf-Tech is looking for a hands-on engineer to assist with engineering tasks, labouring and driving duties. Must be willing to take on a wide variety of additional manual tasks to support engineering manager. Key responsibilities • Servicing and repair of industrial meat processing machinery on site, • Fault finding and repair of gearboxes, • Deal with emergency breakdowns and repairs, • Working with Engineering manager on engineering projects, • Ensuring stock room is organised and has an up to date inventory list, • Adhere to health and safety requirements, • Collection/delivery of parts Skills and qualifications • Knowledge of mechanical engineering and electrical fault finding, • NVQ level 3 or equivalent as a minimum, • Experience in the meat processing machinery industry preferred, • Pension, • 28 days holiday including bank holidays, • On-site parking (free), • Unsociable pay x 1.5 and x 2 (depending on hours worked), • Small friendly company, • Paid tea break, • Hot drinks provided

Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to OSHA safety regulations at all times. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical reliability and safety compliance. Assist in training new team members on warehouse procedures and equipment operation. Participate in inventory counts and help maintain accurate stock levels within the warehouse management system. Basic qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar roles. Familiarity with order picking processes and materials handling techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation. Preferred qualifications Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus. Certification in forklift operation or other heavy equipment is highly desirable. Knowledge of construction practices can be beneficial for certain tasks.
