Senior Event Manager – Catering Operations (Major Sporting Event) Oxfordshire, England Full-time, Permanent. Hybrid working available £50,000 - 65,000 per annum, depending on level of relevant experience I am currently recruiting an experienced Senior Event Manager to take ownership of the logistical planning and on-site delivery of hospitality at one of the UK’s most prestigious annual sporting events. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering best-in-class hospitality and catering experiences for tens of thousands of attendees. As the Senior Event Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the entire catering operation, from pre-event planning to on-site execution. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end catering planning, logistics, staffing, and delivery for several hospitality areas at a large-scale sporting event held in the summer., • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver a world-class food and beverage experience., • Manage budgets, timelines, and operational plans to ensure smooth delivery across all venues., • Oversee on-site catering operations during the event, troubleshooting issues and maintaining the highest standards., • Ensure adherence to health & safety, food safety, and sustainability requirements., • Identify opportunities to innovate and improve guest experience year-on-year. We’re looking for someone who is: • Experienced in large-scale event catering operations, ideally in sport, entertainment, or major public events., • Skilled in managing complex budgets, suppliers, and teams under pressure., • A natural leader who thrives in fast-paced environments., • Highly organised, with excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills., • Passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences.
