Studio Tour - The Making Of Harry Potter (WBSTL). As a key member of our team, you will take on frontline Duty Technician responsibilities, addressing the day-to-day technical needs of the attraction while delivering exceptional customer service to our visitors and internal teams. \n This is a twelve-month fixed-term contract position. \n\nYour Role Accountabilities\n\n * Setup, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and control all aspects of industry-leading show technology, including lighting, sound, video, and integrated systems to ensure a consistent visitor experience. \n * Deliver all technical and exhibition-related maintenance requirements within agreed schedules and standards. \n * Assist with the delivery of live events as needed. \n * Ensure public and staff safety at all times. \n * Monitor the protection of assets and equipment to maintain quality and reliability. \n * Comply with internal health and safety regulations and working practices. \n * Maintain effective communication across departments, including Visitor Experience, Studio Facilities, and Corporate Archive. \n * Collaborate as part of a technical project team for themed feature development, installation, and maintenance projects. \n * Contribute to the day-to-day operations of WBSTL, covering weekends, evenings, and school holidays on a shift pattern. \n\n\nQualifications & Experience\n\n * Proven track record in a similar maintenance position, preferably in the entertainment or visitor attraction industry. \n * Knowledge of live event production and relevant audio-visual skills. \n * Experience with installed audio-visual show systems, including fault finding and troubleshooting. \n * Basic carpentry and maintenance skills, along with a good understanding of workshop environments. \n * Experience in an operational and customer-facing environment with significant public interaction. \n * Proven IT skills with a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software. \n * Basic understanding of IT switch networks and IP-based control systems. \n\n\nWorking Pattern\n This is a full-time position, averaging 40 hours per week. The role operates on a flexible rota, including a mix of early, mid, and late shifts, with times ranging from 6:30 AM to 10:45 PM.
