Service Centre Manager 📍 Atherstone, UK | Operations | Leadership role At Kelvion, we design and deliver critical heat exchange solutions that keep industries moving. To support the continued growth of our EMEA Service Operations, we are looking for an experienced and people‑focused Service Centre Manager to lead our Atherstone Service Centre. This is a hands‑on leadership role where operational excellence, safety, quality and people development come together. About the role As Service Centre Manager, you will have full accountability for the safe, efficient and profitable operation of the service centre. You will work with multidisciplinary teams across manufacturing, service and quality, driving right‑first‑time delivery, continuous improvement and strong customer outcomes. You’ll play a key role not only in day‑to‑day operations, but also in supporting service sales growth, engaging customers directly and helping shape the future of our service offering. What you’ll be responsible for Operations & leadership • Creating a safe, structured and highly engaged working environment, • Leading, coaching and developing the service team, • Ensuring skills, capacity and training plans are in place to meet demand, • Achieving OTIF delivery, quality and productivity targets, • Driving standard work, visual management and continuous improvement, • Coordinating people, materials and equipment to meet customer schedules, • Full responsibility for site compliance with UK H&S legislation, • Conducting risk assessments and supporting incident investigations, • Ensuring compliance with PED and internal quality standards, • Supporting service sales growth and customer engagement, • Driving profitability across service‑related activities What we’re looking for Essential • Qualification or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Engineering or Operations Management, • Experience leading a low‑volume, high‑variety manufacturing or service environment, • Strong people leadership skills with high emotional intelligence, • Confident communicator, fluent in English (written and spoken), • Customer‑facing experience, • Knowledge of fabrication and mechanical assembly, • Exposure to regulated or quality‑critical environments, • Positive, self‑motivated, and resilient, • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, • Strategic thinker with a “one‑team” mindset, • High integrity, accountability and professionalism, • Able to influence and build trusted relationships quickly 💡 Why join Kelvion? • A leadership role with real impact, • A collaborative, engineering‑driven environment, • The opportunity to shape and grow a critical service operation, • A company committed to safety, quality and continuous improvement ♻️ Diversity & equal opportunities Kelvion is an equal opportunities employer.
