Here at GXO Bradford , we are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our transport team supporting M&S food deliveries. You will play an important part in getting products to stores safely, accurately and on time, while providing the professional and courteous service our customer expects. You will be working on a part-time , permanent basis, on an any 2 days out of 7 pattern, contracted to 24 hours per week. What you will do on a typical day: Safely deliver M&S products across the North, Midlands and beyond, completing store deliveries of Food, Fashion, Home and Beauty ranges, with an average of 4 drops per load using cages and totes on dollies Complete nationwide trunking movements between distribution centres, along with container collections and deliveries to ports across the UK, ensuring all loads arrive on time and in perfect condition Carry out daily vehicle inspections, report any defects or damage, and ensure your vehicle is maintained to the highest standards of safety and cleanliness Comply with Driver CPC, Tachograph, Driver Hours and Road Traffic regulations while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining professional communication with stores, ports and the transport team What you need to succeed at GXO: Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards No more than 6 current penalty points No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements A proven track record of operating Class 1 vehicles safely and compliantly We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
