The Role We are looking for an experienced PA to join a reputable Private Client Partner in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant to join a growing team supporting one of our a highly regarded Private Client Partner's in their thriving legal practice. You’ll step into a dynamic and varied role where you'll work side by side with a high-achieving Partner, managing their emails and schedules, coordinating and attending events, compiling essential data, providing operational office support and much more. No two days will ever be the same! We’re on the lookout for a driven PA/EA who’s eager to learn, grow, and develop their skills, while making a real impact in their next career step. A legal background is desirable but not essential. Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive PA support to the Partner, including diary management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel., • Draft, format, and proofread correspondence and documents., • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling queries with professionalism., • Organise and prepare for meetings, including circulating agendas and taking minutes where required., • Providing general administration for the team, • Compiling information & managing data on excels spreadsheets, • Business research & handling billing on legal files, • Arranging & booking meetings with clients and other key stakeholders, • Event booking and business development support Office & Operational Management • Manage office supplies and place orders (e.g. stationery, kitchen items, and general consumables)., • Oversee facility’s needs, such as coordinating with cleaners and contractors., • Ensure meeting rooms are prepared, and appointments are scheduled in a timely manner., • Support with general office administration, such as handling post, booking couriers, and maintaining accurate records., • Assist with basic operational tasks to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office. What we're looking for Skills and Experience • Recent relevant experience working as an EA/PA, supporting senior professionals at Director / Partner level, ideally within the legal sector., • Experience supporting senior legal professionals is preferred, but relevant skills and experience within a corporate / professional services environment are encouraged to apply., • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, • Accuracy and strong attention to detail, • Ability to build strong rapport and relationships, • Strong IT skills (specifically Microsoft Excel/Word and Data Rooms), • Excellent client service, • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident in building relationships and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
