You will have: • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience., • Proven experience in 2D and 3D CAD required (Autodesk Inventor an advantage but not essential) within an OEM structured engineering department, • Knowledge of metallurgy, material science, heat treatment; specific knowledge in cutting, welding, heat treatment and machining, • Mechanical calculations (NX, MathCAD, Microsoft Excel) - mechanics, stress calculation, resolution of forces, beam calculation., • Free reading of design/technical documentation, • Basic product/plant understanding and know-how (what pieces go where and how to find reference information)., • Relevant experience in heavy engineering and structural design., • Applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing standards relevant to the component designed., • Fabrication design, welded joint selection, and correct use of welding symbols., • Design for large, machined components including tolerance selection, limits and fits., • Design of original machines considering for correct assembly and maintenance., • Production of clear concise working engineering drawings, accurate bills of material and arrangement drawings. Examples of previous work are helpful., • To operate freely with international documentation: technical books, standards, catalogues etc (AutoCAD, Inventor), • Work in international groups with ability to communicate both verbally and written and work within a worldwide team environment., • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability looking at overall results and finer details., • Ability to prioritise workload, on-time delivery and deliver on-time results to Company standards whilst working on multiple projects., • Experience undertaking structured writing in the form of technical reports., • Available for regular business travel (worldwide)

Perform tasks such as measuring, marking, cutting, punching, bending, shearing, welding, and cleaning sheet and plate materials. Cut, bend, and deburr bar stock. Operate laser cutting machines to produce components within specified tolerances. Assist with despatch duties including packing, labelling, and securing products for shipment.
