Car Wrapping Job Role:
Job Title: Car Wrapper / Vinyl Wrap Installer
Responsibilities: 1. Preparation:
Thoroughly clean the vehicle to remove dirt, grease, and contaminants.
Remove necessary parts like mirrors, trim, and badges for a smooth wrap application.
Sand down rough surfaces or imperfections on the vehicle's body. 2. Measurement and Cutting:
Accurately measure vehicle surfaces to determine the required amount of vinyl wrap.
Cut the vinyl wrap to the appropriate size and shape for different vehicle parts. 3. Application:
Apply the vinyl wrap to the vehicle's surface, ensuring no air bubbles or wrinkles.
Use tools like squeegees and heat guns to smooth out the wrap for a perfect fit.
Trim excess vinyl and make precise cuts around edges and curves. 4. Detailing:
Reattach removed parts like mirrors, trim, and badges.
Conduct final inspections to ensure no bubbles, tears, or imperfections.
Touch up areas that require additional attention to detail. 5. Finishing:
Apply sealants or protective coatings if necessary to enhance wrap durability.
Provide clients with care instructions for maintaining the wrap.
Skills Required:
Attention to detail and precision.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to work with various tools and materials.
Understanding of vehicle surfaces and bodywork.
Knowledge of different vinyl wraps and their properties.
Ability to work in different environmental conditions.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in car wrapping or related fields.
Certification from a recognized car wrapping training program (optional but beneficial).
Strong portfolio.
We have relocated, and we are currently seeking a payment arrangement that compensates installers on a per car basis. We are confident that this payment structure will greatly surpass the annual salary that is currently advertised.
