Clean Energy Rotation Programme (Graduate) Location: Belfast (hybrid) Salary: £35,000 - £45,000, depending on experience Type: Full-time | Two-year rotational programme About us We develop, build, own and operate renewable energy projects across the island of Ireland, with a portfolio covering onshore wind, solar and battery energy storage (BESS). The island's electricity system operates as a single all-island market, and our projects and people work across it. From our Belfast office, this programme develops the graduates we expect to help lead the island's energy transition. The programme • This is a two-year, full-time rotational position for graduates who want to understand the whole clean energy business before choosing a specialty. You will complete three eight-month rotations across our core functions, shaped around your strengths and interests:, • Development: siting, planning, grid connection and the commercial groundwork that takes a project from map to shovel-ready, • Engineering & Construction: technical design, contractor coordination and delivering projects in the field, • Finance & Asset Management: investment analysis, project finance and the commercial performance of our operating fleet, • You will finish the programme with a permanent placement on the team where you have found the strongest fit, along with a network and a company-wide understanding that most professionals take years to build. What you will do • Join each team as a full contributor, with real deliverables and ownership from your first week, • Support live projects through analysis, modelling, applications, technical reviews and site visits across the island, • Present your work to senior leadership at the end of each rotation, • Learn directly from experienced developers, engineers and financiers, with a dedicated mentor throughout, • Build the cross-functional fluency that accelerates careers in this industry What we are looking for • A degree (2.1 or above) in engineering, environmental science, economics, finance, business or a related field, • A genuine interest in clean energy and the transition to a decarbonised economy, • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data, spreadsheets and learning new tools, • Clear communication and the confidence to work across every part of a business, • Adaptability: three rotations mean three new teams, new problems and steep learning curves, • The right to work in the UK, • No prior energy experience is required. Internships, placements, research or campus involvement that show initiative are an advantage. We hire for aptitude and attitude.
