The Unit operates from 08.00 – 18.00, Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays.As the successful applicant, you will; – be responsible and accountable for the daily management of the endo and decontamination suite, managing a wide range of priorities, including staff management. – ensure the JAG accreditation standards are met, British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) guidance, and the National and Local decontamination guidance is followed. – perform the tasks of preassessment and endoscopy assistant during procedures (sedation and GA), when required, in collaboration with other members of the MDT. – be responsible for the professional development of the endoscopy team and overall work performance.This is an award-winning hospital, led by some of the South-West's most experienced consultants supported by 24/7 RMO cover on-site.
