The Role As a Community Associate (our version of Front of House Associate), you’re the heartbeat of your Runway East site. You’ll be the person members rely on, the one who keeps everything running, and the face that makes people genuinely glad to come into work. It’s a varied, hands-on role - part hospitality, part operations, part community-building. If you come from a hospitality background, you’ll feel right at home - this is essentially that, with 8am-5pm hours and with an incredible community around you. You’ll be on your feet, keeping spaces looking great, running floor checks, and rolling your sleeves up when things need sorting. That hands-on element is a big part of what makes the role rewarding, and it’s also how you build the best relationships with members - because you’re always out and about, not stuck behind a desk. You’ll also be the face our members see every day - the person they stop for a chat, come to when something’s wrong, and remember when they think about why they love their office. Building those relationships is one of the best parts of this job, and our members genuinely feel it. A Roaming Role Across the South West Your home base is Bristol, but this role covers both Bristol and Bath - so depending on the week and where we need cover, you could be at any of our South West sites. All our sites have great teams and brilliant member communities, so you’ll get to know different spaces. If you like variety and don’t mind a bit of travel, it’s a genuinely fun way to work. We’ll talk through the practicalities with you during the interview. What Your Days Look Like Your time will roughly break down like this - though every site and day varies: ~50% Site checks, cleaning & maintenance - keeping kitchens, communal spaces and facilities in top shape. High step count, lifting, and plenty of moving around are all part of the deal. ~20% Member interactions - naturally woven throughout the day. Whether you’re doing a floor check or covering reception, you’re always building relationships and making people feel at home. ~20% Admin - managing our helpdesk, member comms, and keeping on top of day-to-day coordination. ~10% Events - hosting our member initiatives, from Cake Wednesdays to monthly community events. Events follow a tried-and-tested format, so you’ll be delivering and adding energy to them rather than designing from scratch. Key Responsibilities Site checks & housekeeping; conduct regular cleaning and compliance checks to keep spaces safe, beautiful, and functioning. This is the most important part of the role. Member support; be the go-to person for members, from a quick chat on the stairs to handling a facility issue calmly and efficiently. Operational troubleshooting; when things go wrong (and they will), you’ll coordinate with your team and the right stakeholders to get them sorted quickly - from wifi issues to blocked toilets. Community events; deliver our popular member initiatives and bring the energy that makes them special. Cross-team collaboration; work closely with your Community Manager and colleagues across sites (London, Birmingham, Bristol, Brighton, Bath) Who You Are We’re looking for someone who is: • Hands-on and gets stuck in; you’re not fazed by physical tasks and take pride in a spotless, well-run space., • A natural with people; you can switch comfortably from chatting with a startup founder to an exec, and you genuinely enjoy building those day-to-day relationships., • Calm under pressure; when multiple things go wrong at once, you prioritise, communicate, and keep things moving without it showing on your face., • Detail-oriented; you notice the things others miss and take action without being asked., • A team player; you show up for your team, share knowledge across sites, and celebrate wins together., • Experienced in hospitality or high-touch customer service; experience in a similar environment (hospitality, retail, facilities, front-of-house) is a real advantage. The Role: • Door-to-door residential sales, • Promote and sell EE & BT Home Broadband products, • Hit targets and maximise earnings Commission & Bonus Structure: • Earn commission on EVERY SALE from your first sale., • Higher value products = higher commission Threshold: • 15 net sales per month required to unlock commission, • Once achieved, commission is paid on all sales (1–15+) Bonuses: • 20+ sales = additional bonus, • Example: 28 sales = +£500 | 38 sales = +£1,000, • Quarterly bonus for consistent performance Quality: • We will monitor and address high cancellation rates in line with company policies., • We actively encourage upselling our product range based solely on customer needs; this is monitored both internally by our compliance team and externally through NPS metrics. We’re looking for: • 18+ and eligible to work in the UK, • Confident, resilient, target-driven, • Comfortable working outdoors, • Driving licence preferred (not essential), • Door to Door Sales experience is beneficial, but attitude is key.
