
Responsible for supervising young people in a Children's Home, providing advice, care, and stability. Ensure they are treated equally and receive equal opportunities daily. • Ensure the protection and well-being of young people in our care., • Demonstrate the value of education, care, and development., • Build mutual trust and respect with young people to foster appropriate responses., • Define behavioral structures and boundaries, serving as a positive role model., • Maintain and distribute accurate house paperwork., • Encourage participation in a structured routine through behavioral control and analysis., • Create activities that develop life skills and education., • Apply relevant legislation and standards., • Provide basic financial and life skills advice. Role Description We’re looking for caring and reliable people to join us as Haven Buddies (Care Assistants / Support Workers / Companions). In this role, you’ll provide essential companionship and support to individuals and families. Every day is different, but you may: • Provide companionship and conversation to reduce loneliness., • Help with light household tasks (meal preparation, tidying)., • Support safe daily routines (reminders, wellbeing checks)., • Accompany clients to appointments, activities, or walks in the community.
