Users come to Shmoozer for motivation, encouragement, connection, or simply someone to talk to in the moment. We’re building a community of Shmoozers. About the Role As a Shmoozer, you’ll work as an independent contractor providing live, one-on-one conversations to users through the app (audio and video calls). This is a paid, flexible role where you choose when you’re available and connect with users in real time. You’re not expected to be a therapist or expert, just a present, non-judgemental, and engaging human on the other side of the screen. Responsibilities • Show up on time when you set your availability, • Engage in respectful, thoughtful, and judgment-free conversations, • Bring warmth, personality, and humor when appropriate, • Be a positive, reliable human presence for users, • Follow Shmoozer’s community guidelines and safety standards Important Note This is not a therapy or counseling role. You’re not expected to fix, or professionally advise anyone, just to connect, listen, and be yourself.
