We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic acute care team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing, along with advanced clinical skills in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation. This role requires the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry settings, • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition, • Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and administer medications as prescribed, • Assist with and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation procedures, • Conduct ongoing patient assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care, • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical standards, • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines, • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required, • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program required, • Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical and 1 year of Telemetry experience required, • Minimum 2 years of IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation experience required, • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required, • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA required, • Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills, • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Important Details: • 13-week contract position (extensions available), • Shift is 12 hrs/day (7:00 AM-7:30 PM), 36 hrs/week, • Location is Bronx, NY 10467, • Pay Range for Locals: $65 - $68 per hour, • Pay Range for Travelers: $2,750 - $2,800 per week Call to Action: • Spots Are Filling Quickly — Apply Now!
