Job Description Hybrid | Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM -7:00 PM | $19.43 per hour + great benefits Position Purpose: This mission centered position aids in providing services and/or distributing products to patients nationwide while maintaining accurate and complete data on partners and patients. Responsibilities: • Perform daily departmental tasks by reviewing incoming orders, contacting patients about refills, and coordinating order shipments., • Manage multiple databases to ensure accurate and complete records of partner accounts, and patient information in all systems., • Assist with a high volume of inbound and outbound calls as part of the Patient Services team., • Follow up with patients, physicians, blood collection facilities to meet patients' needs and satisfaction., • Collect patient payments and execute other accounting functions related to the order., • Display a professional demeanor towards all patients and agencies (including but not limited to physicians, schedulers, technicians, phlebotomists, patients, and other Vital Tears partners) while maintaining and strengthening relationships with all external and internal partners., • Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration in internal and external communications., • Be self-motivated to monitor your own work, ensuring a high level of quality, efficiency, and standards achieved., • Work closely with other internal departments on tasks, projects, and initiatives related to Vital Tears. (Quality Assurance, Finance, Lab, other), • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and phone communication skills., • Strong organizational skills, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities and attention to detail., • Ability to work independently, with limited direction, and in a team environment., • Proficient in using multiple screens and systems including Microsoft Office, databases, and web applications., • Skill in maintaining patient confidentiality when handling verbal, written, and electronic information., • Skill in active listening and responding appropriately to patient concerns., • A minimum of one (1) year of work experience in a call center or customer service environment., • Must have reliable transportation., • Frequent periods of intense concentration., • Ability to handle mental and physical strain involved in use of printed materials, prolonged use of computer screens and extensive phone usage., • Moderate manual dexterity for basic keyboarding., • Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing., • Standard office setting with typical working conditions, • Position may involve frequent interruptions and shifting priorities At this time, we are only able to consider candidates who do not require current or future sponsorship for employment authorization.
