Job Description Location: Sunny Isles Beach, Florida (On-Site) Company: Neto Capital Employment Type: Full-Time Working Hours: 9:30AM–5:30PM Start Date: Immediate / Based on availability Compensation: Competitive compensation + commission + performance-based bonuses Position Overview We are looking for a Collection Specialist to join Neto Capital’s Collections and Portfolio Operations team. This is a dynamic, meaningful, and sensitive role that combines ongoing client communication, payment tracking, handling problematic accounts, managing difficult conversations, finding practical solutions, working with CRM systems, basic data analysis, and maintaining organized and accurate collections processes. The role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, assertiveness, confidence, the ability to manage challenging conversations, strong organization, execution discipline, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Collection Specialist will be responsible for managing ongoing communication with clients who are past due, at risk, or not meeting payment terms, while maintaining professional communication, organized documentation, consistent follow-up, and processes designed to improve collections, reduce risk, and support the performance of the company’s portfolio. Key Responsibilities Manage ongoing communication with clients regarding payments, past-due balances, open balances, and payment arrangements. Conduct collection calls in a professional, assertive, and clear manner. Track past-due accounts, missed payments, returns, failed payments, and risk patterns. Conduct daily and systematic follow-up with clients based on file status and company policy. Document calls, actions, payment promises, statuses, and notes in the company’s systems and CRM. Work with Operations, Underwriting, Risk, Legal, Sales, and company management on sensitive accounts. Identify early warning signs, changes in client behavior, reduced activity, or increased risk. Assist in building practical solutions with clients, including payment coordination, arrangements, status updates, and escalation when needed. Work with Excel / Google Sheets to track files, payments, statuses, reports, and basic analysis. Use AI tools for call summaries, information organization, drafting messages, basic analysis, tracking, and improving workflows. Maintain complete, accurate, and organized documentation of all collection activity. Support internal reporting on collections status, performance, risks, and open accounts. Identify recurring processes that can be improved and suggest ways to make collections work more efficiently. Work in a dynamic environment with goals, volume, multiple tasks, and short timelines. Requirements At least 1 year of experience in Collections, Customer Service, Account Management, Sales, Operations, Client Relations, or a similar role — required. Bachelor’s degree — advantage. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Communications, Law, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field — strong advantage. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage difficult conversations. Assertiveness, confidence, and ability to lead conversations professionally. Ability to handle objections, pressure, sensitive situations, and challenging clients. Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets — required. Basic ability to work with data, spreadsheets, reports, tracking, and analysis — required. Experience using AI tools for writing, summaries, organizing information, research, and process improvement — required. Experience working with CRM or client management systems — strong advantage. Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-up ability. Ability to work independently and manage schedules. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multi-tasking environment. High personal responsibility and discretion when working with sensitive financial information. Nice to Have Previous collections experience in finance, FinTech, lending, business financing, banking, or financial services. Experience working with business clients in the U.S. Experience managing payment arrangements, delinquent accounts, default cases, or recovery processes. Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar CRM systems. Basic understanding of financial products, credit, payments, balances, debt, or portfolio management. Experience working with Risk, Legal, Operations, or Underwriting teams. Additional languages — strong advantage, especially Spanish. Experience using AI tools to improve documentation, call summaries, task management, and status analysis. Who You Are You are assertive, communicative, and confident.
