The Power Plant Buyer I supports procurement and supplier management activities for the SMR-300 program, contributing to the successful delivery of materials and equipment for complex nuclear energy projects. This role is focused on executing sourcing activities, processing purchase orders, and supporting supplier performance to ensure project needs are met. The ideal candidate is an early-career professional with strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and interest in developing expertise in procurement within a highly regulated, technically driven environment. Location: Camden, NJ (Onsite) Primary Responsibilities: • Execute sourcing and purchasing from RFQ through PO award, including proposals, bid reviews, and PO changes., • Support supplier identification, competitive sourcing (RFQ/RFP), clarifications, and bid leveling., • Prepare price comparisons and total-cost analyses to support negotiations and award recommendations., • Coordinate with engineering, project controls, and construction to confirm scope, specifications, and procurement strategy., • Maintain procurement trackers (RFQs, awards, POs, suppliers) and support basic spend/commitment reporting., • Keep procurement files and commercial documentation audit-ready and aligned with quality requirements., • Coordinate supplier quality, inspection, and documentation requirements during selection and PO placement. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)., • 1-4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or a related role (internships/co-ops considered)., • Basic understanding of purchasing processes and supplier coordination., • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)., • Effective written and verbal communication skills., • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team environment., • Must be eligible to work under U.S. federal code 10 CFR 810. This role is critical to Nourish's core operations - you'll work cross-functionally with our Clinical Ops, Payer Ops, Customer Experience, and Product teams. The work you do directly impacts our patients (ensuring billing is never a barrier to care), our dietitians (enabling a smooth payment experience), and our payers. This role is full-time and open to NYC-based or remote candidates. Key responsibilities: • Manage a high volume of patient-facing and internal billing questions - including, but not limited to, resolving denials, investigating patient responsibility questions, and processing insurance coverage verifications., • Work claims end-to-end via our clearinghouse and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a smooth billing experience for our patients and providers., • Support efforts to streamline existing RCM processes by providing suggestions for automation or new tools, optimizing individual steps, and maintaining consistent, reliable execution., • Support ad-hoc RCM projects - including payer-specific billing efforts and new service line expansions., • Develop and maintain SOPs for RCM workflows, flagging process gaps and proactively suggesting improvements to the team., • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to communicate billing updates, escalate complex cases, and gather information needed to resolve patient or payer issues., • Partner with our Product and Engineering teams to test, evaluate, and optimize AI-powered billing tools and automation - actively contributing feedback that shapes how our RCM technology evolves.You'll love this role if:, • You are detail-oriented and organized.
