Job Description True Classic is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel to lead our global legal strategy across corporate governance, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, privacy, employment, marketing, and commercial contracting. In this role you will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and founders, proactively manage legal risk, and build scalable legal frameworks that enable sustainable growth and innovation across the business. All of True Classic's roles are global and omni-channel, leading designated areas of accountability across all product categories, countries, and different sales & marketing channels. This means you will have the opportunity to impact our operations worldwide, ensuring a cohesive strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives and drives success across various markets and platforms. Areas of Accountability Strategic Legal Leadership • Serve as a key legal advisor to executive leadership and founders on critical business initiatives, • Anticipate legal risks and opportunities, developing proactive strategies that support growth and innovation, • Manage corporate governance processes, including documentation and compliance requirements, • Oversee global regulatory compliance programs across privacy and data security, marketing, product, operations, and employment, • Oversee the company's global IP portfolio, including prosecution, brand protection, and enforcement, • Lead the development and maintenance of privacy policies and procedures, • Structure, draft, and negotiate a high volume of commercial agreements (e.g., supply agreements, software agreements, marketing agreements, real estate leases), • Advise the HR team on employment law matters, including policies, investigations, and compliance, • Support Marketing and Product teams with risk assessments, campaign reviews, and terms & conditionsCross Functional Collaboration, • 3PL Partners: Review KPIs, resolve service issues, and drive continuous improvement, • Transportation & Freight Teams: Align on carrier performance, cost optimization, and capacity planning, • Customer Experience (CX): Coordinate replacements, escalations, and service recovery efforts, • Finance: Support freight cost visibility, duty reporting, and chargeback tracking, • Marketplace & Retail Teams: Protect SLA compliance and performance metrics across DTC, Amazon, and retail channelsQualifications, • 3–5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, • Previous experience with 3PL inventory management required, • Hands-on experience with parcel, TL, and LTL freight, • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, reporting, performance analysis), • Experience with NetSuite and WMS systems, • Experience managing freight claims and carrier escalations, • Background supporting DTC, Amazon, and/or retail fulfillment channels, • Strong cross-functional communication skills Competitive salary + bonus Time Off * Unlimited PTO and sick time Health & Wellness • Company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, • $75/month Wellness Stipend, • $75/month Personal Workspace Stipend, • $1,000/year True Classic merchandise allowance About True Classic At True Classic, our purpose is simple: empower everyone to look good and feel good.
