The Department of Urology at Albany Medical College is seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Urologist to join our growing pediatric surgical team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice the full scope of pediatric urology within the region’s only Children’s Hospital, supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary academic environment. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pediatric urologic care, including office-based procedures and operative care at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital. This role offers a balanced clinical practice with access to academic resources, collegial partners and strong APP support! Position Highlights • Full-time faculty position within an academic medical center, • Mix of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities, • Perform procedures in both the outpatient setting and the Children’s Hospital, • Join a collaborative team of:, • 1 pediatric urologist, • 1.5 dedicated pediatric advanced practice providers, • Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a broad range of pediatric urologic conditions, • Deliver care in outpatient clinics, inpatient consult services, and the operating room, • Perform in-office procedures and hospital-based surgical procedures, • Collaborate closely with pediatric surgery, pediatrics, anesthesia, nursing, and APP colleagues, • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary care models, • Excellent clinical facilities with easy patient access and free parking., • Immediately adjacent to outpatient surgery center in same building, • In office ultrasound, fluoro-urodynamics, cystoscopy, laboratory technician, • Outstanding urology residency - with fellowship trained faculty in every Urologic subspecialty.
