Benefits employee sponsored plan pays 100% of employees insurance and family. 401k with match Life Insurance Per Diem Job Details Summary: Onsite supervision and management of all onsite project activity including but not limited to job setup, inspections, subcontractor management, scheduling, reporting, budget management, site safety, closeout, through turnover working in partnership with the project manager while prioritizing great subcontractor and client relationships. Job Kickoff • Conduct complete and comprehensive drawing reviews ensuring a complete set of drawings without gaps prior to starting onsite, • Attend all preconstruction meetings when feasible, • Prepare agendas with PM and attend all preconstruction meetings such as detailed Sub scheduling, subcontractor buyout meetings, city meetings, etc. when possible, • Complete all due diligence checklist including design, construction inspection, and closeout inspection list prior to internal kickoff meeting, • Support PM and Admin with all preconstruction tasks, • Review and understand the requirements of our Construction Contract with owner including change order, impact logging, pay app submittals., • Set up all trailers, dumpsters, temp fencing, cameras, immediately upon mobilizing per company standards, • Conduct precon meetings with city officials necessary to commence work, • Maintain the jobsite cleanliness, safety, and signage per company standards, • Generate “confirming RFIs” including problem and proposed solution in conjunction with PM prior to submitting to designers for approval, • Maintain a complete up to date set of Construction Documents in the job trailer including but not limited to hard copy drawing set, RFI log, Submittal log making available to all subcontractors working on the project, • Receive and review all subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders prior to placing hard copy in the tabbed job book kept in the onsite construction office., • Complete safety orientation training with all workers prior to them setting foot on site, • Assist the PM in reviewing sub pay app progress billing for verification of work in the field., • Ensure that the project is constructed in accordance with the contract documents., • Manage, track, and document schedule impacts, • Produce daily reports within 24hours of each day’s conclusion noting weather, subs, work accomplished, deliveries, visitor logs, inspections and any other site activity required by the company’s daily report template, • Conduct Daily safety and quality audits, • Ensure pavement is put down as early as possible in the construction phase., • Conduct required weekly toolbox talks and site safety inspections., • Complete all hard copy and electronic Documentation per company standards, • Conduct weekly master subcontractor schedule updates with pm on Thursday and generate updated 4-week lookaheads in outbuild Monday, review with subs Tuesday at weekly sub meeting, and issue with meeting minutes by end of day via Procore, • Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings with sub foreman every Tuesday in person and virtually for subs who haven’t mobilized to site per the template agenda., • Generate and conduct all subcontractor preconstruction meetings with the project manager, • Generate and conduct biweekly owner meetings onsite or virtually per the company standard agenda, • Ensure subcontractor deliveries on schedule, have representative to unload, and facilitate neat orderly material storage areas, • Carefully inspect onsite work as it’s put in place and following completion, • Walk and manage subcontractor “Work Completion List” 30days prior to owner punch list with intent to significantly reduce or eliminate an Owner Punchlist, • Walk, document, and manage owner punch list in the field for expeditious completion commencing immediately following walk with owner. The punch list should be completed 2 weeks or less from the walk date., • Obtain all final inspections and necessary documentation to meet or beat construction schedule, • Manage and obtain a complete set of red-lined Record drawings for all design disciplines, • Assist the project manager and admin with all closeout tasks to expedite closeout of the job, • Complete post job agenda with project manager and attend post job closeout meeting, • Create Raving Fans of the internal project team, owners, subcontractors and inspectors., • Supervises employees, subcontractors and vendors to ensure both quality control and project compliance., • Always maintain a safe and clean job site., • Hold BlueCard and OSHA certifications in addition to other requirements of onsite management, • Always stay current with all OSHA regulations prioritizing safety on our jobsites, • Prioritize use of technology and software is key to personal and company operational success, • Stay current by developing personal ongoing education plans for key technologies, • Support new superintendents by training them to the companies’ ways while on your site, • Attend regular training, contribute, and lead when requested., • Create a culture of team improvement by sharing mistakes, lessons learned, and other key insights developed that will benefit others in the company Interested in hearing more?
