Job Description Responsibilities: • Supervise daily accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable., • Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures to produce timely and accurate financial statements., • Manage and mentor accounting staff, including AR and AP specialists, to ensure efficient workflows., • Develop weekly cash flow forecasts and margin analysis reports to support strategic decision-making., • Serve as the financial expert for the company’s inventory and job costing systems, ensuring optimal utilization., • Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to maintain compliance and accuracy., • Implement and monitor internal controls to protect company assets and enhance operational efficiency., • Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement., • Collaborate with leadership to align financial strategies with business goals., • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with preference for advanced certifications., • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management within manufacturing or inventory-focused industries., • Proficiency in navigating ERP and accounting systems, with experience in Adjutant being highly advantageous., • Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting principles and inventory valuation techniques., • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing small accounting teams., • Advanced expertise in Excel and financial modeling for accurate forecasting and reporting., • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to supporting organizational goals., • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
