We are a growing, service-based company seeking a data-driven Director of Finance to bring clarity, discipline, and foresight to our financial operations. As a key member of the Leadership Team, the Director of Finance delivers clear, timely, and actionable financial insight that allows the business to run on data, protect margins, and scale profitably. Operating within the Entrepreneur Operating System (EOS), this role translates company vision, Rocks, and priorities into accurate reporting, predictive insights, and disciplined financial planning, eliminating financial surprises and supporting profitable growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities for Director of Finance: Financial Planning & Forecasting • Own the annual budget, rolling forecasts, and 3-year financial model, • Translate company Vision, annual priorities, and EOS Rocks into financial impact, • Identify financial risks and opportunities proactively, • Provide scenario modeling to support strategic and operational decisionsMargin & Profitability Management, • Analyze gross margin by service line, customer type, and route, • Monitor labor efficiency, route density, production per technician, and overtime, • Partner with Operations to improve profitability and cost control, • Support pricing strategy, compensation plans, and growth initiativesCash Flow & Working Capital Management, • Maintain a rolling 13-week cash flow forecast, • Manage visibility into cash needs related to hiring, fleet, and equipment growth, • Improve cash conversion and accounts receivable performance, • Ensure the business can scale without cash flow stressFinancial Reporting & Controls, • Oversee timely and accurate monthly close, • Prepare and present financial results to the Visionary and Integrator, • Implement and monitor AR policies aligned with cash flow goals, • Track Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and drive continuous improvement, • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, • Maintain AR aging reports and collection strategies, • Partner with Operations and Sales on customer credit limits and terms, • Analyze AR trends to forecast cash impact and identify problem areasAccounts Payable, • Optimize vendor payment terms while maintaining strong relationships, • Monitor Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), • Ensure accurate and timely invoice processing and payments, • Implement controls to prevent duplicate payments and errors, • Analyze spend by vendor and category to identify cost savings, • Maintain accurate vendor records and communicationKPI Ownership & EOS Scorecards, • Define, track, and refine financial and operational KPIs, • Ensure EOS Scorecards are accurate and actionable, • Support Level 10 meetings with reliable, timely data, • Drive accountability through clear measurablesSystems, Scalability & Strategic Partnership, • Improve financial systems, reporting tools, and processes, • Reduce manual work and increase scalability as the company grows, • Ensure finance infrastructure supports future growth stagesMeasurables, • Revenue vs. forecast, • Gross margin % by service line, • EBITDA % vs. plan, • Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), • 13-week cash forecast accuracy (±5%), • AR performance benchmarks, • Monthly close completed within the first 5 business daysQualifications and Experience:, • Leadership & Accountability: Strong ownership mindset with the ability to hold peers accountable using clear data and facts, • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain complex financial information to non-financial leaders, • Strategic Thinking: Forward-looking, analytical, and solution-oriented, • EOS Experience: Experience working within the Entrepreneurial Operation System (EOS) or similar operating systems preferred, • Cross-Functional Partnership: Proven ability to collaborate with Operations and Leadership to drive results, • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred but not required), • Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive finance experience, preferably in a service-based, labor-driven business, • $100,000 - $125,000 annually, with performance-based incentivesBenefits, • Simple IRA (3% match after one year of employment), • $400.00 towards health insurance, including dental and visionPerks, • Company Computer, • Cell PhoneTime Off, • Paid time off starts accruing day 1 of employment, • Paid HolidaysAdditional Information:, • Monday – Friday schedule, • On-site or hybrid work environment, • Leadership Team roleThomas Pest Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug-free workplace.
