Client Services – Billing & Medical Records Garden State Veterinary Services (GSVS) is looking for a detail-loving, people-friendly pro to join our Specialty & Emergency Hospital in Woodbridge, NJ! Who We Are GSVS is a busy, multi-specialty practice with boarded experts in cardiology, surgery, neurology, internal medicine, radiology, and critical care—plus access to oncology, ophthalmology, dermatology, radiation therapy, and more. What You'll Do • Manage accurate inpatient, discharge, employee, and external billing by auditing records, verifying charges, correcting discrepancies, and finalizing invoices, • Communicate with clients regarding estimates, deposits, billing updates, insurance claims, payment policies, balances, and financial concerns, • Oversee accounts receivable, including payment plans, collections, attorney referrals, and coordination with credit agencies, rescues, and donation organizations, • Ensure fees, product codes, and charges align with the Veritas fee schedule; identify and adjust inappropriate charges with leadership approval, • Coordinate crematorium services, external lab shipments, shipping accounts, and vendor billing; maintain logs and audit invoices for accuracy and timely payment, • Process insurance claims, follow up on payments, and document client wishes and outcomes, • Serve as primary contact for hospital email accounts and medical records, ensuring timely receipt, scanning, documentation, confidentiality, and proper record management, • Educate staff on charge entry and payment protocols while maintaining a professional and supportive client experience, • Veterinary hospital experience (required), • Billing experience (a plus!), • Organized, upbeat, team-oriented communicator, • Sunday – Thursday, 8:30AM – 5:30PM. Holidays (2 - 3 Major holidays requirement per year), • Tuesday - Saturday, 8:30AM – 5:30PM.
